Aggie STEM on KBTX

Dr. Mary Margaret Capraro and Katherine Vela were featured on KBTX-TV focusing on women in STEM. Dr. Capraro discussed STEM career opportunities and gave advice for young women. Although Aggie STEM encourages both women and men in STEM fields, this segment focused on women and the gender wage gap that seems to occur in STEM careers. Katherine Vela, the summer camp director, explained why she chose graduate school to advance her career. She also discussed the highlights of our summer camps, especially our all girl camp.
