STEM PBL Developed at Aggie STEM Teacher Bootcamp Comes to Life

STEM PBL Developed at Aggie STEM Teacher Bootcamp Comes to Life
April 15, 2019 Cassidy Caldwell

Amy Matocha, a mathematics teacher at St. Joseph Catholic School, joined us last summer for our Aggie STEM Teacher Bootcamp. During her time with us, she learned strategies for integrating science, technology, and engineering through the use of project-based learning (PBL) activities into her classroom. Ms. Matocha challenged herself and her students with robots! The STEM PBL activity she recreated was called “Fuzzy Decisions: How Control Systems Are Developed” from our A Companion to Interdisciplinary STEM Project-Based Learning book. Check out their success in this video made by her students.
