Donation in honor of James B. Kelly

James Burton Kelly was the true embodiment of what it means to be an Aggie. His generosity and selflessness was displayed in every one of his actions. He constantly devoted himself to A&M and contributed to the STEM program. James has and forever will be a fightin Texas Aggie.

Mr. Kelly annually gave the gift of camp to academically talented children who were unable to attend camp because of financial reasons. Your donation will be used to continue his legacy and his tradition of giving back to the community while supporting his beloved institution Texas A&M University. Thank you notes will be sent to all donors acknowledging their gift and the Kelly family will receive a note acknowledging the total donated and list of donors.

Dr. Niyazi Erdoğan

Project Coordinator I, TLAC

Niyazi Erdogan was awarded with a B.A. degree in Science Education by Hacettepe University, which is one of the top universities located in Ankara, Turkey. After a period of working as a science teacher, he began to study science education as a M.Ed. student at Texas A&M University in Fall 2009. Following his master’s degree, he began his Ph.D. degree and to work as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Teaching, Learning and Culture at Texas A&M University. He was awarded with a Ph.D. degree in Science Education by Texas A&M University and began working as a Research Associate in Balikesir University. Later, Niyazi Erdogan worked as assistant professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Balikesir University. Currently, Niyazi Erdogan is working as Project Coordinator I at Aggie STEM in the Department of Teaching, Learning and Culture at Texas A&M University. His research interests are STEM education with an emphasis on science, project-based learning, and engineering education.
