Aggie STEM is a collaboration between Texas A&M’s College of Education and Human Development and the College of Engineering.

Donation in honor of James B. Kelly

James Burton Kelly was the true embodiment of what it means to be an Aggie. His generosity and selflessness was displayed in every one of his actions. He constantly devoted himself to A&M and contributed to the STEM program. James has and forever will be a fightin Texas Aggie.

Mr. Kelly annually gave the gift of camp to academically talented children who were unable to attend camp because of financial reasons. Your donation will be used to continue his legacy and his tradition of giving back to the community while supporting his beloved institution Texas A&M University. Thank you notes will be sent to all donors acknowledging their gift and the Kelly family will receive a note acknowledging the total donated and list of donors.

ASSC 2021: Advancing into STEM Fields

Advancing into STEM Fields

Dates: June 13, 2021-June 26, 2021

Price: $2,453.65

If you are a rising high school student who has experience in STEM topics and is looking for a deeper set of experiences, then this camp is for you! You will have the opportunity to explore advanced topics in STEM disciplines, such as discrete mathematics topics, statistics, coding, atmospheric science, aerospace (rockets, drones), standardized test preparation, and engineering design. You will also tour various STEM labs on the TAMU campus. This camp is geared toward students entering 9th – 12th grade for the 2021-2022 school year and will require an application to qualify for entrance. A detailed letter about application requirements can be found here. Activities vary based on faculty availability and lab space. Sample classes and activities are given as examples based on prior camps. A sample schedule for this camp can be found here.

Registration will open January 27, 2021 at 8:00 AM CST for the general public.

If you were accepted to the Aggie STEM Honors Program, Health Professions Program, or Advancing into STEM camps (one week, two week, and veterinary medicine) for 2020 AND opted for automatic acceptance and voucher for 2021, no additional documents are required! You will be sent a personalized code at the beginning of January for your voucher amount. Follow the link for registration beginning  on January 25th, then  fill out the required fields, and enter this code on the payment page. If you do not receive this code by January 15, please email your voucher to aggiestem@tamu.edu

Registration implies acknowledgement and agreement to student participation in online surveys and potential interviews for Aggie STEM research and consent for use of pictures for promotional purposes. Cancellation Policy: Aggie STEM has a no refund policy for participant cancellation for all camps. The camps may be cancelled without prior notice due to enrollment numbers. If a camp is cancelled, paid participants will have the choice of a full refund or to transfer into another open enrollment camp.
