Aggie STEM is a collaboration between Texas A&M’s College of Education and Human Development and the College of Engineering.

Donation in honor of James B. Kelly

James Burton Kelly was the true embodiment of what it means to be an Aggie. His generosity and selflessness was displayed in every one of his actions. He constantly devoted himself to A&M and contributed to the STEM program. James has and forever will be a fightin Texas Aggie.

Mr. Kelly annually gave the gift of camp to academically talented children who were unable to attend camp because of financial reasons. Your donation will be used to continue his legacy and his tradition of giving back to the community while supporting his beloved institution Texas A&M University. Thank you notes will be sent to all donors acknowledging their gift and the Kelly family will receive a note acknowledging the total donated and list of donors.

James B. Kelly Honors Program

James B. Kelly Honors Program

Dates: June 13, 2021-June 26, 2021

Price: $2,453.65

If you are a mature, rising high school junior or senior with an interest in science, math, or engineering and the ability to work independently and responsibly, you might be interested in the James B. Kelly Honors Program (JBKHP), a non-credit enrichment program sponsored by Aggie STEM and the Colleges of Education and Engineering. You may have the opportunity to work collaboratively on research projects and will explore advanced topics in STEM disciplines, such as statistics, smart systems, atmospheric science, and engineering design. You will also tour various STEM labs on the TAMU campus and have the opportunity to work with STEM professionals. This camp will require an application and a test to qualify for entrance. There is a no refund policy once you register your child, unless it is for the deposit in one of the competitive camps. In the case of deposits they are only refundable if your child does not gain admittance. In the event your child is not admitted into a competitive camp you will receive preference for one of the open enrollment camps and can transfer the deposit to that camp or select to receive a full refund. Please note: registration implies acknowledgement and agreement to the following activities initiated by Aggie STEM for research or promotional purposes: student participation in online surveys, potential student interviews, and use of student pictures.
