Do you want to have an integrated STEM experience? Are you looking to provide additional resources for your students or your school? Have you wondered how you might include micro controllers, Drones, Aquaponics, or 3D printers in your instruction? Are you struggling to integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in a way that is rigorous and creative?

Aggie STEM will be hosting engineering-design driven STEM Teacher Boot Camps where teachers have the opportunity to observe research-based effective practices  and participate in workshops to develop their content and pedagogical skills and create hands-on classroom based activities.

In the “STEM PBL Activities for Secondary Teachers” Boot Camp, teachers. Teachers will reflect on STEM pedagogies and adapt STEM Project-based Learning (PBL)s for their own classroom. Teachers attending this session will build an Aquaponics system, use microcontrollers, and learn to integrate the 3D printer into their STEM instructional lessons. The format for this immersive learning experience is primarily group activities conducted at your own pace.

In the “Construct your Elementary Tool Chest: STEM PBL Activities for the Elementary Classroom” Boot Camp, teachers will learn the engineering design process for elementary school levels and how to develop curriculum with active hands-on STEM activities to engage elementary students. Various activities including two STEM commercial curricula will be featured. This camp will focus on classroom management along with immersive elementary learning experiences.
