Donation in honor of James B. Kelly

James Burton Kelly was the true embodiment of what it means to be an Aggie. His generosity and selflessness was displayed in every one of his actions. He constantly devoted himself to A&M and contributed to the STEM program. James has and forever will be a fightin Texas Aggie.

Mr. Kelly annually gave the gift of camp to academically talented children who were unable to attend camp because of financial reasons. Your donation will be used to continue his legacy and his tradition of giving back to the community while supporting his beloved institution Texas A&M University. Thank you notes will be sent to all donors acknowledging their gift and the Kelly family will receive a note acknowledging the total donated and list of donors.

Summer Camp

The Aggie STEM Summer Camps (ASSC) give students real world experiences in STEM education through inquiry learning and provide a world-class university experience with Texas A&M University professors in STEM fields. Students will attend a variety of non-credit STEM classes spanning many different areas depending on faculty availability.

The ASSC schedule is tentative and is subject to change based on Texas A&M University policies and the evolving COVID-19 pandemic. Admittance numbers will depend on gathering limits set by the CDC.

We will be following recommendations from the CDC concerning summer camp very closely. For detailed information about our precautions and campus procedures, visit our Healthy Summer 2021 page here!

We are excited to welcome our NEW partners from Johnson Space Center! The most common science roles at NASA are in the disciplines of general physical science, astronomy and space, and physics. NASA will heighten our camp experience through projects and activities involving astronautical engineering.

Registration for our competitive camps has closed. Our on-campus, open-enrollment camps are currently full. You may still register to be put on our waiting list and we will contact you if a spot opens up!

Registration for our JUNE camps is officially closed. To be added to a waitlist for a JULY camp, please email aggiestem@tamu.edu!
