Donation in honor of James B. Kelly

James Burton Kelly was the true embodiment of what it means to be an Aggie. His generosity and selflessness was displayed in every one of his actions. He constantly devoted himself to A&M and contributed to the STEM program. James has and forever will be a fightin Texas Aggie.

Mr. Kelly annually gave the gift of camp to academically talented children who were unable to attend camp because of financial reasons. Your donation will be used to continue his legacy and his tradition of giving back to the community while supporting his beloved institution Texas A&M University. Thank you notes will be sent to all donors acknowledging their gift and the Kelly family will receive a note acknowledging the total donated and list of donors.

Summer Camp: Advancing into STEM

Advancing into STEM (One Week)

Dates: Session 1: June 12–18, 2022 — SOLD OUT —

              Session 2 (2 weeks): June 19–July 2, 2022 — SOLD OUT —

              Session 3: July 17–23, 2022 — SOLD OUT —

Grades: 9–12 in the 2022–2023 school year

If you are a rising high school student who has experience in STEM topics and is looking for a deeper set of experiences, then this camp is for you! You will have the opportunity to explore advanced topics in STEM disciplines, such as discrete mathematics topics, statistics, coding, atmospheric science, rockets, reading/mathematics SAT preparation, and engineering design. You will also tour various STEM labs on the TAMU campus. This camp is geared toward students entering 9th–12th grade for the 2022–2023 school year and will require an application to qualify for admittance. A detailed letter about application requirements can be found here. Activities vary based on faculty availability and lab space. Sample classes and activities are given as examples based on prior camps.  A sample schedule for this camp can be found here.
